Kurt’s eyes blinked open and he found himself nose to nose with Blaine.
"Morning," Blaine said, smiling slightly.
"Hi," Kurt said sleepily. "I like this. Waking up next to you."
"I like it, too," Blaine said, nuzzling his nose against Kurt’s.
Kurt closed his eyes and snuggled closer to Blaine, resting his hand on Blaine’s shoulder.
"Hey," Blaine said, wrapping his hand around Kurt’s waist. "Do you know what today is?"
"November 15," Kurt said.
Blaine chuckled. ”Yes. But do you know what it means?”
"Is this a trick question?" Kurt asked, opening his eyes.
"No! It’s our eight month anniversary!" Blaine said.
Kurt’s eyes widened.
"It’s been eight months since I first kissed you." Blaine smiled.
Kurt slid his hand from Blaine’s shoulder to cup his face. ”I had tried so hard to make my feelings for you go away. Somehow it never worked.”
"I’m glad you couldn’t," Blaine said.
Kurt smiled and kissed Blaine.
"I meant what I said last week, you know," Kurt said. "You take my breath away, Blaine. With everything you do. Every time you look at me you just blow me away."
"And I meant what I said in March," Blaine responded. "You move me. The way you talk, the way you walk, the way you sing, the way you dance. The kindness of your heart. You amaze me, Kurt. I’m so honored that you want to be with me."
"Of course I wan to be with you!" Kurt said emphatically. "I’m so proud to be with you. I meant that, too."
"I love you," Blaine said.
"I love you so much," Kurt affirmed and kissed Blaine again.
When they broke apart, Kurt said, “We should get dressed. We’re going to be late for school.”
Blaine nodded in agreement.
But both boys were too content the way they were to even consider moving.
